Yongjia manufactures custom PU foam molds for ATV, UTV and automotive seat cushions from customer-supplied STEP, IGES or STL files, drawings, or physical samples. Complex bolsters, deep recesses, undercuts, inserts and multi-density zones require an engineering review before the mold structure is confirmed. Price cannot be estimated from overall seat size alone: cavity count, aluminum and frame choices, heating, surface finish and trial-foaming requirements all affect the quote. Send the project data below for an itemized assessment.
Our molds can be widely used to make car seat cushions, backrests, child seats, sofa cushions for daily use seats, etc.
ATV Seat Cushion Molds for Complex Shapes
ATV and UTV seat cushions often combine high side bolsters, drainage or mounting details, narrow corners, and metal or plastic inserts. These features can make the foam part harder to release and the mold harder to machine than a flat, single-cavity cushion.
For deep recesses or undercuts, our engineers review the parting line, removable insert options, gate position and vent layout before confirming a mold concept. Heating method, clamping and surface requirements are also checked against the part geometry. Final capability and mold structure are confirmed only after the engineering review.
For evaluation, provide STEP, IGES or STL data, the target finished-foam density, skin or surface requirements, insert drawings, annual output and the parameters of the existing foaming machine. If the mold is part of a new project, review the complete car seat foam production line and send the line requirements with the mold data.

What Determines an ATV Seat Foam Mold Price?
An ATV seat foam mold price is based on the approved mold concept rather than seat size alone. The main quote variables are:
- Finished-part size and geometric complexity: deep contours, narrow radii and undercuts require more engineering and machining time.
- Number of cavities: additional cavities increase mold size, machining, matching and validation work.
- Aluminum grade and mold frame: material selection and frame strength affect raw-material use and fabrication time.
- Inserts and moving structures: insert holders, removable sections or other release features add components and fitting work.
- Heating and temperature control: water or electric heating requires different channels, connections and control provisions.
- Surface treatment and trial foaming: polishing, non-stick coating, texture and the requested trial scope add finishing and validation steps.
Send your 3D file, target foam density, insert drawing, annual output and preferred heating method for an itemized quote. If the mold will run with a high-pressure PU foaming machine, include the machine model and operating parameters.

ATV Seat Foam Mold FAQ
Can you make a mold from a physical seat sample?
Yes. The current mold service supports design from a physical sample, drawing or 3D file. The sample still needs an engineering review to confirm parting, cavity layout, gates, vents, inserts and the information required for a quotation.
How do undercuts and inserts affect price?
Undercuts can require a different parting strategy or removable mold sections, while inserts need accurate holding and locating features. Both add design, machining and fitting work, so they are evaluated against the actual geometry instead of priced at a flat rate.
Can the mold be tested on your PU foaming machine?
Trial foaming can be carried out on our high- or low-pressure PU machines before shipment. The test scope is confirmed against the foam system, machine parameters, target density and agreed acceptance requirements.
What files are required for an accurate quote?
Send a STEP, IGES or STL file where available, or a detailed drawing or physical sample. Also provide the target foam density, skin or surface requirement, insert drawing, annual output, cavity requirement, heating preference and the parameters of the foaming machine that will run the mold.
